What's new

TRC-2679

Domain name change to rocketsoftware.com

This release includes a very important change impacting the entire TRUexchange SaaS, all clients, and all integration to TRUexchange SaaS system. The trubiquity.net domain is changed to rocketsoftware.com. Both domains will be operational for some time to enable the smooth migration. The URL of the TRUexchange Web UI will be redirected to the new domain.

TRC-3925

Documentation update on available TRUexchange clients

A new section is added to the TRUexchange User Guide, describing all the clients available for the TRUexchange SaaS application.

TRC-3945

Community-level Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enablement

Only the Rocket Support users can enable or disable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) at the community-level based on requests from Community administrators. MFA is disabled by default. Once MFA is enabled for a community, all users members of the community are required to configure MFA.

TRC-3946

Updates to User Settings page for managing MFA

You can configure or disable MFA in the Security section of your User Settings page at any time.

TRC-3947

New page to verify OTP after first-level authentication

After you log in using your user name and password, a new page is displayed for MFA. You need to provide the required token as the default second authentication type. You can choose a backup way to complete the MFA. If you make three wrong attempts, the system locks your account and sends you an email with a link to reset your password.

TRC-3948

Configuration file updates to support MFA

The TRUexchange configuration file has been extended to provide the required support for MFA as a self-service. The required parameters for integration of TRUexchange with the MFA restful web service (PrivacyIdea) were provided.

TRC-3950

MFA enablement for TRUexchange Desktop client

The TRUexchange Desktop client has been extended to support MFA. If you are required to set up MFA, a pop-up message with a link redirects you to the TRUexchange Web Client.

Note: Configuration of MFA can be done only in the TRUexchange Web Client.

TRC-3952

Documentation updates for MFA

The TRUexchange User Guide and TRUexchange Desktop User Guide have been updated to include information about the TRUexchange MFA self-service.

TRC-4000

MFA configuration wizard

A wizard is provided for quick and easy configuration of MFA as a self-service.

TRC-4001

Rocket Support administrators can enable or disable MFA at the application level

Only the Rocket Support administrators can enable or disable MFA at the application level for TRUexchange SaaS. This MFA setting is the top-level and overrides the community-level and user-level MFA enablement or disablement.

TRC-4002

Enhanced security through MFA

This release provides enhanced security through MFA offered as a self-service. When you first log in, a pop-up message notifies MFA availability and you can start with MFA configuration. If you cancel the configuration, you can manage MFA in the Security section of User Settings page at any time later.

TRC-4014

Backup option in the process of the login with MFA

Users are required to configure at least two MFA types. This enables users who are logging in to the backup type to complete the MFA, if they have some issue with the default MFA type.

TRC-4015

Rocket Support users can disable MFA for users

Only the Rocket Support users can disable MFA at the user-level in the Edit User Details page. Community-level MFA overrides the user-level enablement of MFA.

TRC-4040

Documentation updates for the new domain name

In all TRUexchange SaaS documentation, the old domain trubiquity.net is updated to the new domain rocketsoftware.com.
